TomorrowISLAND is back again with an amazing after party, TomorrowISLAND - The Last Call | After Party, to relive December’s hit event. With 2 stages, 6 showcase artists, 10 commercial DJs, 5 Techno DJs including one international act from Iceland, the after party promises the best commercial, afro and techno music.
This After Party is an invitation for music lovers to enjoy an exceptional music festival experience, headlined by popular local artists - Sky To Be, Blakkayo, Bigg Frankii, Justice Lecoq, Lyon Squad, Madi Madi & Jason Le Boucher on the main stage.
Being the island’s biggest music festival, TomorrowISLAND is also bringing an A-list lineup of DJs with music across the dance music spectrum to light up the dance floor all night. That means whether you're into EDM, house, techno, dancehall, or a combo of all of them, you are in for a wonderful treat. Expect Jimmy Gassel, Vishal XVI, Tony Montanna, Ash, LP, Soul Faya, Big Papa, DJ Ani, Giovanni Joson and Avi-S to keep you dancing throughout the night.
To make this party even more exciting, there will be a second stage indoors to bring the night to life. Expect 5 techno artists including one international act from Iceland: Jean Michel Rey, Lebo, Ramik17, Vanessa and the international Icelander, Bjarki.
Performing under the mononym Bjarki, his musical output has thrust him to the forefront of the international techno scene and he has become one of the techno scene’s hottest properties. In 2015, Bjarki’s first single released under his own name became a crossover hit played by DJs in the world’s biggest clubs, launching him as the “next big thing” in international techno. But he refrained from joining the traditional club circuit, choosing instead to release 41 tracks spread over three albums in one year with cryptically titled names and starting his own Iceland-focused label.
Jean Patrice Kevin Dina, commonly known as Sky to Be, released his first album titled Circonstances lavie in 2018 whereby the song Dodo baba became an instant hit in Mauritius. The music video has garnered over 8 million views on Youtube and placed second on the 2018 record charts of several radio stations. Dodo baba is a local favourite and is still played at every party in Mauritius, with Sky To Be being one of the most loved artists of Mauritians.
He started out as a dancer in the 90s and was inevitably attracted to music and reggae in particular. Inspired by Kaya, the inventor of seggae, Blakkayo started writing his own music and went on to release his first solo album Tchek To Life in 2000 which got enormous success. The following year, the musician and his group, which later became known as Otentikk Street Brothers (OSB CREW) released an album Nou Kkila as a heartfelt tribute to Kaya.
A very prolific singer, Bigg Frankii has millions of views on the platforms where his songs and videos are offered to his fans. This Roche Bois singer enjoys a star status with the new generation where Picoti Picota, Tic Tac, My one in a million are essential hits.
DJ Tony Montana is a respected & dedicated DJ. A true professional with a reputation for pace & style, carving out sets of incredible music spanning the last 50 years. With a particular penchant for House Music, Tony loves capturing that ‘feeling’ that is often associated with this genre. For Tony, music & feel are very important. Ritualistic even.
Taking in influences from all corners, LP's passion is DJing in all its forms. LP's set covers all genres from deep, sexy, latin, afro, funky and soulful flavours, to create a signature sound that has seen him take on all the major clubs and bars in Australia & Mauritius.
Soul Faya is a highly talented and remarkable group made up of 3 Mauritian brothers: Sainish Dajee, Geanish Dajee and Dharish Dajee. They started out in 2017 as Producer, DJ and Manager and have continually evolved in the mainstream music and entertainment industry. As a group, they have succeeded in delivering groundbreaking music cutting across a vast genre of music. With great love for all forms of music, the band’s primary genres include Afrobeat, Afropop, Dancehall music, Reggaeton and Moombahton.
Avinash Bucktowar, commonly known as Big Papa, started an interest in music in the early 2000s. His professional career kicked off in 2006, when he met with music pioneer David Jay who provided him with various technical vinyl tuitions. He would go on to play for several clubs and establish a reputation of one of the finest DJs of Mauritius. BigPapa is renowned for his deep house music set and he journeys into all types of music, and more recently, adopting a touch of Afrobeat, making his sets unique and distinctive.
DJ Avi-S, the favorite DJ of Mauritians, promises a good atmosphere. Known for his distinct sounds and original mixes, DJ Avi-S will ensure an electric night and great music.
