This web site is maintained as our services, whether directly or indirectly, made available to our customers. By accessing, browsing and using Otayo.com and/or by making a purchase through us, you are acknowledging and agreeing having read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
Our aim is to be as professional, efficient and courteous as possible with both our customers and suppliers. As such it is important to know what this document is and who we are. This is a legal document which is the agreement between Otayo.com (whom we refer to as “we”, “our” and “us”) and the Customer (referred to as “you”, “your”, “he”, “she” or the “Customer” in this document) who is the person making the reservation, including also all bookings made for 2 or more people; all the people traveling with you and for the avoidance of doubt any individual you make a booking on behalf of.
It is taken that you are the lead contact for your group and that therefore all correspondence and conversations in respect of arrangements for yourself and all members of your group will take place between you and us. Thus you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions that appear below, all of which are called the “Agreement”. No alteration to these conditions shall be effective unless expressly agreed to in writing by the director of Otayo.com.
Limited Right to Use. The Site and our Services are only for your non-commercial, personal use and not for business purposes, except as separately permitted in writing. The viewing, printing or downloading of any content, graphic or form from the Site, Otayo.com, grants you only a limited license for use solely by you for your own personal use and not for other uses. No part of any content, form or document may be reproduced in any form or integrated into any information retrieval system, electronic or mechanical, other than for your personal use (but not for resale or redistribution).
Registration And Your Account
Depending on the specific functionality of our Site, you may or may not need to Register to use much of its operations or to access much of our Services. However, you must Register in order to make a booking and the user must be at least 18 years of age. This allows you easy access to print your Voucher, view your past purchases, modify your selections and you will not have to re-enter your information every time you make a booking.
How to Register?
To Register, you need to provide us with your name, email address, password and possibly some other personal information.
All Accounts must be Registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly. Any Accounts which have been Registered with someone else’s email address or with a temporary email address may be closed without notice. We may require users to re-validate their Accounts if we believe they have been using an invalid email address.
You must make sure that your password is kept confidential and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to any unauthorized third party or if there is any unauthorized use of your email address and account. You agree that we are not responsible for any operations and use that occur under your account; you are solely responsible if you do not maintain the confidentiality of your password.

The Site contains copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information, including, but not limited to text, software, graphics, designs, compilation, video, music and sound. The entire contents of the Site are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks, registered trademarks and other proprietary (including but not limited to intellectual property) rights.
The copying, redistribution, use or publication of any such matters or any part of the Site by you for commercial gain is strictly prohibited unless authorized in written by the owner of the site. You do not acquire ownership rights to any content, document or other materials viewed through the Site. You will be solely liable for any damage resulting from any infringement of copyrights, trademarks, proprietary rights or any other harm resulting from such a submission.
While we have taken care to ensure that the content on Otayo.com is accurate, this website and the services accessible on or via are provided “as is” and your use of and reliance on the information on this website and the online services is entirely at your own risk. We make our best to keep the website updated and running.
You expressly agree that use of this site is at your sole risk and that neither Otayo.com, its directors or employees, warrant that use of the site will be uninterrupted or unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.; nor do we make any warranty as to:
(i) the results that may be obtained from use of this site, or
(ii) the accuracy, completeness, reliability or content of any information (including, but not limited to, product descriptions, services, products, deals, or statements (as defined above) provided through this site.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use of this website.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following sales terms are communicated to each customer every time he processes an order. Processing an order implies that the customer adheres to the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
We advise you to place your order a minimum 5 days before your travel date so that we can process with your request for reservation fully and provide you with the activity on your proposed date. All reservations are subjected to availability. Any disability requiring special attention should be reported at the time of booking. We will make all our best to cater for the needs of the disabled participant. By making a booking with us (whether directly through Otayo.com’s website or by email), you and all members of your group have well understood and accepted our Terms and Conditions and that in the case of group bookings (2 persons & more), the person making the reservation is responsible for making all members of his or her group aware of these conditions.
The products, which are namely: events, concerts, shows, theater, entertainment packages, sport events or any other product or service offered on the Otayo.com website is valid within the limits of the availability and they are supplied to the customer through our suppliers and third parties. The photos, illustrations and other promotional material used for the description of the product/activity are for the purpose of exemplifying products of the same type of activity. We cannot guarantee that all photos advertised and used on our website illustrate the exact attraction as offered by the service provider. The only purpose of these photos is to give the customers a better idea of the event. The descriptions and illustrations on any of our content and our website are given as approximate representations only, but in good faith. It is important to note that the scheduled return times for the events are based on normal road and weather conditions and this may change if conditions are unfavorable or due to unforeseen operational problems. Otayo.com aims to be accurate on the details shown on its website and in its offers but we make no commitment about the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of the Material or about the results you will obtain from using our Websites and Material.
Provision of Service
No compensation of any kind or responsibility can be taken due to circumstances beyond our or our supplier’s control. For example, when we have to notify a change to your arrangements after processing your order, or we or our suppliers cannot offer your arrangements in full or in part as agreed, or you suffer any loss, injury, accident, or damage of any description to person or personal property. A circumstance beyond our or our supplier’s control is unpredictable or avoided, even after taking all due care, includes but is not limited to war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes, acts of god, natural or nuclear disaster, high level of water, technical or maintenance problems and bad weather situations or forecasts. Otayo.com also reserves the right to cancel scheduled events, concerts, shows or any other product at any time in the event of hazardous weather conditions, unforeseen operational problems or due to any other good reason provided by the producer of the event. Furthermore, Otayo.com reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at its sole discretion.
Otayo.com cannot be held liable for:
- cancellation or postponement of a show/event
- content of the show/event
- possible change from the first party
- artistic distribution
- any changes in the programme
- concert schedules
The tickets are printed upon confirmation of your order and according to the instructions of the producers / organizers of shows / events. They cannot be resold at a higher price than the value range, with all taxes included on the ticket. Any holder of such a ticket will be refused entry. Tickets cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
The beneficiary of the ticket must comply with regulations and utilisation in the venue, whatever the show.
The buyer shall at the time of surrender of the ticket, check the name, date and time of the show/event and the price contained therein. No claim will be accepted thereafter.
If the show/event must be stopped beyond half its length, tickets will not be refunded.
If the show/event date is changed, tickets will be validated on the new date set by the producer / organizer.
In case of cancellation of a show/event by the organizer, only the price mentioned on the ticket will be refunded, rental costs included, excluding charges (transport, hotels, parking, etc …). Since all tickets are non-refundable, the customer will not be entitled for a refund in case of any cancellation made by the customer.
Please refer to the event description for the price of each specific event. All prices are listed in Mauritian rupees and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your order. Tickets once sold are not exchangeable and non-refundable. All deals are final, and no changes to the Deal Conditions, Highlights or description are allowed. These will be clearly specified at the time of booking and on the confirmation email. Prices are based on the local tariffs offered by our suppliers.
Unless detailed otherwise in the specification of the event, these prices do not include transportation, food, beverages, transportation, nor do not include any other service which is not detailed in the specification of the event. As we act only as an agent for our suppliers, we and our suppliers reserve the right to change, amend or correct prices shown on our site at any time before or after you have booked. After you have booked, if the price of your booking changes in such a way, we will pass on the details of the change as soon as possible.
The user will be required to read carefully and accept the terms and conditions which are displayed on the Otayo.com website before making a booking. Once the booking has been made, the user and the supplier of the product will be bound by such terms and conditions and both parties will receive a booking confirmation email.
We do not guarantee against pricing errors or issues with regards to programming and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to not process or to cancel any orders placed for a ticket whose price was incorrectly posted or issues with programming that results in an error. If this occurs, Otayo.com will notify you by email and or by phone and a full refund will be given.
Charge-back customers who pull chargebacks *will* be reported to all major credit bureaus as a delinquent collection account.
Payment system & Payment Methods
Otayo.com uses the MIGS MasterCard secure online payment system operated by the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB). Online Reservations can only be made with a valid credit card. If you do not want to use our payment system or do not own a credit card, you can always contact us directly to discuss alternative payment methods such as payment via the office, payment by bank transfers, transfers via MCB Juice or others.
MasterCard guarantees a high level protection when providing your credit card number. Information regarding the latter is not accessible to third parties and is not communicated to us and is only kept on the secure database of MasterCard. The order confirmed by the client will be considered valid only when approved by “MasterCard”. After placing your order, your credit card shall automatically be debited with the full amount due upon logging out of your account. Once the payment is cleared, you will receive an automated confirmation email of your order. If MasterCard does not approve the transaction, the order will be automatically canceled and the client will be informed by email.

It is also possible to pay by bank transfer directly to Otayo.com’s bank account or have the payment done directly in cash at the registered office of Otayo.com or at the Otayo Rezo (defined as the 10 points of sales scattered in key locations in Mauritius).
Under no circumstances will Otayo.com be liable for any kind of commission that your bank might charge you for payment paid to Otayo.com.
The security of credit card payments Visa or MasterCard is provided by the coding system 3D-Secure -SSL (Secure Socket Lysers) of the Mauritius Commercial Bank Ltd on line banking, which encrypts and secures confidential information.
When you click the “Submit” button after the checkout process, you accept it as the entirety of these terms of sale.
The data recorded by Otayo Ltd constitutes the proof of all transactions by Otayo Ltd and its clients.
The data recorded by the secure payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions. You will be required to insert a password issued by your bank; the system will determine the record for the Mastercard Secure Code or Verified by Visa. For some banks, it is ESSENTIAL to make a formal request for access to our online payment service.
Once you have made the payment, a Booking confirmation e-mail will be sent immediately after you “Place Order” for which it is important for us to have an accurate email address. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within the next 15 Minutes of placing the Order, you should contact our Customer Services department at email@example.com.
Our Booking Confirmation e-mail is a proof of valid booking and will contain relevant information about the booking and particulars of the event concerned. Please read and check carefully all the information contained in your Booking Confirmation e-mail to ensure that it conforms to your reservation made. If there are any changes to the details, we request that you inform us immediately by email, phone or by contacting our customer support center.
You will be required to print and produce your ticket at the venue, such can be either the official Otayo printed ticket or an E-ticket.
Complaints and problems
In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or in case you experience any problems with your service, this must be brought to the attention of Otayo immediately and no later than within 5 working days from the day of the event.
Please note that if you fail to follow this simple complaints procedure, Otayo.com will not be able to claim the refund or compensation on your behalf, and accordingly you will not be entitled or will lose the refund or compensation which you could have redeemed.
Damage to or theft of personal belongings
Otayo.com cannot be held liable if a client’s personal belongings are damaged or stolen during a show/concert/event. It follows, therefore, that Otayo.com is not obliged to compensate its clients for damages in this regard. Each client has a personal responsibility to take due care and attention by keeping close watch on his or her personal belongings and to refrain from bringing valuables.
We shall accept no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property or valuables. Insurance to cover the loss of baggage and valuables is also highly recommended and is not in any means included in any of our activities/trips/products or any other services.
Refund of Processing fees
In case of any cancellation both by the customer or by Otayo or its partners; Otayo.com is not liable to refund the credit card processing fees nor any other bank fees associated to the purchase made by the customer. The customer will only receive the applicable refund calculated as per the Otayo.com refund policy, after deducting the fees detailed hereof.
Otayo.com acts as a booking agent for the relevant suppliers for any event, concert, show and/or any other service. We have no liability of any kind whatsoever to you or your group, or dependents for any death, personal injury, loss, consequential loss or damage of any kind you or your group, or your dependents may suffer unless caused by our own negligence.
By using Otayo.com, you agree to indemnify us and its employees against any liability, although we may at our discretion agree to assist in the resolution of problems, and take our own action against any supplier and this party who is in breach of its obligations.
As a customer of Otayo.com, you are responsible for you and your party’s/group actions whereby you are expected to respect your environment and other people around you.
Venue owners have every right to expel you from the show/event under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behavior seen as inappropriate by them. You must not behave in a way which may cause distress or annoyance to others or which may create the risk of danger or damage to any property. In any of these cases mentioned hereof, all insurances will be invalidated and you will not have any entitlement to a refund, compensation or to cover any of your expenses of any kind whatsoever. In case of damages or loss caused by you or any member of your group, you will be held responsible and be liable for full payment for these damages.
Any claim or dispute will always be dealt with the best attention and care, as the person that takes the pains of submitting his claim is presumed to do so in good faith. In case of litigation, the client will at first deal with the company for an amicable solution of the problem. If a solution cannot be found, the Mauritian legal system will be the sole competent legal system.
This Agreement or Terms and Conditions is constructed in accordance with and governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any litigation related to the commercial relationship existing between Otayo.com and the client are submitted to the sole competence of the Mauritian jurisdictions.
